Talib Kweli has been around for a while now, and has a loyal legion of fans (myself included). He is one of more gifted lyricists in hip-hop, but is also a perfect example of how an MC has to be careful to not allow the technical side of rapping to dominate the track. That and that alone will probably ensure that Talib won't achieve the commerical success of Jay-Z.
